KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SKILLS & COMPETENCIES • Financial data analysis: Strong ability to analyse trends, variances, ratios, budgets, AR performance, risk indicators, and account-level financial drivers. • Audit-ready reporting: Capable of preparing accurate financial reports, reconciliations, schedules, workpapers, and supporting documentation for audit review. • Strategic finance lens: Able to apply financial, economic, and statistical principles to commercial, operational, procurement, HR, and project decisions. • Stakeholder management: Professional communication with CFOs, finance leads, internal teams, and multi-stakeholder account contacts. • Digital finance transformation: Adept at finance modules, mainstream ERPs, automation, dashboards, modern collaboration tools, and a 360degree financial ecosystem. • AI/ML in finance: Familiar with AI and machine-learning applications for financial analysis, forecasting, risk flags, reconciliation support, and decision insights. • Professional discipline: Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, compliance mindset, initiative, and out-of-the-box problem solving. • Financial planning & reporting: Support budgets, forecasts, management packs, finance dashboards, compliance schedules, and performance commentary. • Data-led analysis: Prepare concise, data-backed insights on trends, anomalies, variances, risks, AR ageing, margins, costs, and improvement opportunities. • Audit-ready reconciliations: Maintain complete, accurate, traceable reconciliations, financial reports, workpapers, and audit files. • Digital finance systems: Support finance-module optimization, ERP data quality, dashboards, automation, and collaboration workflows across the financial ecosystem. • Accounts receivable field support: Spend approximately 30% of working time travelling across Kenya for AR follow-ups, account reviews, and relationship-building. APPLICATION PROCESS • CFO &stakeholder relationships: Establish and maintain professional relationships with CFOs, finance teams, procurement contacts, operations leads, and relevant account stakeholders. • Multi-stakeholder account approach: Support a MEDDPICC-informed account discipline by mapping financial drivers, economic buyers, decision criteria, risks, and stakeholder needs per account. • CMEs/webinars: Organize finance-focused CMEs/webinars and account education forums to strengthen financial literacy, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional alignment. • Cross-department financial ideas: Apply financial and economic principles across departments, offering practical financial perspectives on pricing, cost control, process efficiency, credit risk, and value creation. • Records & confidentiality: Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, timely filing, and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
