Looking for a hospitality job in Kenya? KSG is hiring a General Manager skilled in hotel operations, strategic direction, and hospitality business performance. Requirements For appointment to this level an officer must have: Served for a cumulative period of fifteen (15) years, five (5) of which must have been at the grade of General Manager or in a comparable position; Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related qualification from a recognized institution; Master’s Degree from in any of the following disciplines: Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Strategic Management or a related qualification from a recognized institution; Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; Membership with a relevant professional body, where applicable and be in good standing; Valid practicing certificate where applicable; Proficiency in computer applications; Demonstrated outstanding managerial and professional competence as reflected in work performance and results; Exhibited a thorough understanding of national goals, policies, objectives and ability to relate them to the institution’s mandate; and Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
