Key Responsibilities: Performing incoming, in-process, and outgoing QC checks on devices, components, and accessories per approved SOPs and AQL standards — including visual, dimensional, functional, and safety inspections, with all defects and non-conformities logged in the quality system Running standardised test plans, calibration procedures, and final functional tests on new sample bikes using approved fixtures and software, with full traceability documentation including unit IDs, batch numbers, firmware versions, and operator stamps Owning the refurbishment workflow from intake triage through repair, verification testing, and re-release — classifying units by fault category, ensuring correct parts usage and BOM alignment, and verifying units meet as-new standards before dispatch Consolidating defect trends and failure analysis into weekly OEM feedback packs, supporting corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with OEM partners, and validating fixes through targeted testing Maintaining up-to-date SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and test records on Zoho, and ensuring EHS compliance, ESD-safe handling, and proper battery safety protocols throughout Contributing to device history records and audit readiness, and participating in root-cause analysis using 5-Why, Ishikawa, or similar methodologies Safeguarding and calibrating test equipment on schedule, tracking critical spares and refurbishment parts with accurate stock movements, and supporting pilot runs, sample evaluations, and first article inspections This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi, Kenya.
